The first post of the article can be found here: Hertiage of the English Bible. This will then bring you back to this page.
The Wycliffe Bible, translated from the Latin Vulgate into the English language in the 1300′s by John Wycliffe and his followers was the first complete English Bible ever translated. The possesors, readers, and hearers of this outlawed Bible were arrested, tourtured an often killed for thier “crimes” in regards to the Scriptures in the vulgar tongue (language of the common man).
This page will act the parent page for the series of sermons being preached at Christ Independent Baptist Church of Philadelphia (www.cibc1.org) and will be posted in subsequent pages, outlining the English Bibles that led up to, and were very much insturmental in the translation of the King James Bible. I pray this is a blessing to those that find it.
